Parent/Guardian Resources for NTI Days

Henderson County Schools will be closed starting Monday, March 16th through April 30th due to COVID-19 Precautions. Our anticipated return date is May 1st.

Chromebook Helpdesk
For all HCS students during our NTI days. 
Students will be able to have their Chromebooks assessed and repaired if needed. 
Loaner Chromebooks will be available if immediate repairs are not possible.

School Meals
Henderson County Schools will provide a "Grab & Go" meal at A.B. Chandler, Bend Gate, East Heights, Jefferson, and South Heights beginning Monday, March 30th.  
The "Grab & Go" meal will include lunch, as well as breakfast and lunch for the following day. Meals will be available to pick up between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.   Meals are free to anyone 18 and younger, and students do not have to be enrolled in the school where they plan to pick up the meals or be a student in Henderson County Schools. Per USDA regulations, students must be present to receive the free meals. Adult meals will not be available for purchase. Tables will be set up near the school entrance where students can grab a meal and go. 
 
“Grab and Go” Community Locations
Meals will arrive at these locations on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only for pick-up between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  Please listen for the Bus to Honk to indicate that they are on site.
Buses will remain on-site for 15-20 minutes.
 
You must meet the bus to receive the meals.  Delivery personnel will not come to the door per health regulations. Meals will not be available at these locations during Spring Break.  Families will need to make arrangements to go to Jefferson Elementary or South Heights Elementary to pick up meals.
